N384P is an Airbus H125 operated by PHI Air Medical, LLC and based at Sky Harbor International Airport (KPHX) in Phoenix, Arizona. PHI’s Air Evac 1 is the home of the only High Risk Maternal and Specialty Neonatal teams equipped to service communities across the state. The High-Risk Maternal teams consist of a maternal nurse and paramedic. Specialty Neonatal teams consist of a neonatal nurse and a respiratory therapist.
The H125 is a single-engine workhorse providing high performance, enhanced maneuverability and reduced pilot workload. State of the art technology includes an Arriel 2D engine equipped with a dual channel (FADEC) Full Authority Digital Engine Control, Helicopter Autopilot and Stability Augmentation System, a glass cockpit featuring three liquid-crystal displays (LCDs), digital avionics, and dual hydraulics.
