CAL FIRE Helitender Boggs Mountain Helitack "H104" is an art print from an original illustration. (This is not a cut out photograph or screen capture from a flight simulator). Meticulously detailed, the Helitender is set against the American flag and the silhouette of a Firehawk and the description text is bordered by the Cal Fire logo, the American and state of California flags, and the unit insignia.
Perfect for award presentations, the office or home, or as a gift for that helicopter fan. Printed on high quality, heavy weight Luster paper using a 12-color pigmented, archival ink system.

The description on the print states:
H104 is a Helitender Support Unit (HTSU) manufactured by West-Mark and based based in Boggs Mountain State Forest near the rural community of Cobb in Lake County, California. It serves as the S70i Firehawk’s primary support vehicle and travels to incidents to provide fuel and operational equipment. The Helitender is crewed by a single Fire Apparatus Engineer and has capacity for four additional personnel. It carries 900 gallons of Jet-A aviation fuel in its 1,000 gallon tank and can transfer that fuel at a rate of up to 60 gallons per minute. H104 also carries backup equipment including rescue gear and medical supplies, and other items needed to support the crew on extended attacks such as out-of-county bags and Meals Ready-to-Eat (MREs).
Boggs Mountain Helitack responds to approximately 250 calls per year in an area that spans north into Mendocino National Forest, south to the Bay Area, east to the Sacramento Valley, and west to the ocean. This area covers Colusa, Yolo, Solano, Lake, Napa, Sonoma and parts of Marin and Mendocino counties. Their primary responsibilities include initial attack on wildfires and a number of other missions including air rescue, aerial ignition, cargo sling load, troop transport, reseeding operations, and mapping.
