The description on the print states:
Aircraft 66154 bearing the moniker “Spirit of Solano” was the first of 13 Boeing C-17A Globemasters assigned to the 60th Air Mobility Wing and is operated by the 21st Airlift Squadron “Bee Liners” at Travis Air Force Base (KSUU) in Fairfield, California. The 60th and 349th Air Mobility Wings (AMW) fall under Air Mobility Command and are the largest air mobility organizations in terms of personnel in the Air Force with a versatile all-jet fleet of C-5, C-17, and KC-10 Extender refueling aircraft. Responsible for strategic airlift and air refueling missions circling the globe, the unit's primary roles are to provide rapid, reliable airlift of American fighting forces anywhere on earth in support of national objectives and to extend the reach of American and allied air power through mid-air refueling.
The C-17 is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo to main operating bases or directly to forward bases in the deployment area. The aircraft can perform tactical airlift and airdrop missions and transport litters and ambulatory patients during aeromedical evacuations. The fuselage is 174 feet long and powered by 4 Pratt & Whitney F117-PW-100 turbofan engines, each providing 40,440 pounds of thrust. Cargo compartment dimensions are 88 feet long, 18 feet wide, and 12 feet 4 inches high, and can be configured to carry 102 troops/paratroops; 36 litter and 54 ambulatory patients and attendants; or 170,900 pounds of cargo in 18 pallet positions. In a normal flight configuration, the minimum crew is 2 pilots and 1 loadmaster. In aeromedical evacuations, a basic crew of 2 flight nurses and 3 medical technicians is added.
