N730CF is a Eurocopter AS365 N3+ operated by Premier Health Careflight with four helicopter bases serving a 150 mile radius from Miami Valley Hospital in an area including most of Ohio and parts of West Virginia, Michigan, Kentucky, and Indiana. The aircraft is powered by two Arriel 2C turboshaft engines, each generating 838 hp for a top speed of 190 miles per hour and a range of 514 miles.
The aircraft crew consists of a pilot and 2 certified flight nurses who are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to respond to calls for severely injured or ill patients who need immediate treatment. Premier Health’s CareFlight program serves more than 150 hospitals and more than 300 community life squads, fire departments, and police departments in over 17 counties.
