Operated by REACH Air Medical Services in partnership with the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians, REACH 21 is an Airbus H135 P2+ based in the Viejas reservation in Alpine, California. In addition to serving the residents of the reservation, this collaboration provides 24/7 emergency medical helicopter service to neighboring rural communities in San Diego County.

Providing medical helicopter transport since 1987, REACH’s highly-trained pilots, nurses, and paramedics specialize in the rapid assessment and care of critically ill and injured patients. All transport services are coordinated through a dedicated, satellite-based communications center from their headquarters located in Sacramento, California. Their fleet of aircraft currently includes the Airbus H125, H130, H135, H145 helicopters, and Beechcraft King Air 200 airplanes flying out of bases in California, Oregon, Nevada, Colorado, and Texas.
