N483PH a Bell 412EP operated by PHI Air Medical in partnership with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority based out of Jazan / King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Regional Airport (OEGN) Gizan, Saudi Arabia.

N483PH “LifeGuard 83” was 1 of 8 Life Saving Helicopters that were located within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia operated by PHI Air Medical. The crew consisted of 2 pilots and 2 medical crew; who were available 24/7 to provide emergency air transport for critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients.
These Bell 412EP helicopters had the ability to transport 2 patients with the Life-Port EMS configuration and were powered by 2 Pratt & Whitney PT6T-3D turbine engines. These engines, combined with the BLR Strake and Fast Fin System and a Composite 4 Blade Main Rotor, made it a workhorse with proven performance. Other features included: Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS) and Autopilot, GPS Satellite Navigation, 2-Way Satellite Communication, Onboard Color Weather Radar, Sandel HeliTAWS, and Night Vision Goggles (NVGs) for all night operations.
